The Dr. Cleofe M. Bacungan Natatanging Guro Endowment Fund (CMB NGEF) was established in 2007 as the silver jubilee project of PSHS Main Campus Batch 82.
Its Vision/Mission is for the PSHS System to become the teaching destination for the country’s best science, mathematics and humanities high school teachers – to achieve the highest measures of teaching excellence and effectiveness supported by programs to recruit, retain and develop the
best faculty talents.
The CMB-NGEF is managed by the CMB NG Board. The Board is composed of representatives from the PSHS System, the PSHS NAA and the PSHS Foundation.
Its current Chairperson is Carlo Subido, ’88.
Primarily, it funds the Dr. Cleofe M. Bacungan Natatanging Guro Awards. Donations to the CMB-NGEF will ensure the continuity of the recognition given to outstanding PSHS System teachers.
The other CMB NGEF Program Elements include: salary and benefits supplementation; research and development grants; coaching grants; support for paper presentations; support for attendance in local and international conferences; faculty exchange / visiting instructor program.
